Based on the Funding Agreement POIR.01.01.01-00-0633/20-00 dated December 7, 2020, we have completed the project titled “Development of an innovative mobile security control device utilizing backscatter photon technology (VESPER-VAN).”

The project received financial support under Sub-measure 1.1.1 of the Operational Programme Smart Growth 2014-2020, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

The project was carried out by a consortium consisting of Multicontrol Sp. z o.o. and the National Centre for Nuclear Research. The result was Europe’s first mobile X-ray device for non-invasive cargo inspection based on photon scattering technology. The scanner has been integrated into the business operations of the consortium leader.

The total project value was PLN 4,895,377.50, with PLN 4,169,632.89 contributed by the European Funds.

The project was co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund under the Smart Growth Programme and implemented within the National Centre for Research and Development’s Fast Track for Mazovia competition.

The activities conducted by MultiControl Sp. z o.o. in the area of exposure over the past 12 months have had no negative impact on human health or the environment.
